The Awards
Honoring Those Who Lead
The Women's Empowerment Awards honors individuals who are making powerful contributions to their communities. These leaders represent courage, advocacy, mentorship, and service.
Since its launch, the awards have recognized 29 extraordinary honorees whose work continues to inspire others.

Kendra Hall, Founder
Jewelz Foundation Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to prevention education, youth leadership development, and community stabilization initiatives.
Our work focuses on:
• Teen pregnancy prevention and awareness
• Domestic violence awareness and prevention
• Human trafficking awareness
• Youth homelessness support
• Youth mental health and emotional wellness
• Leadership and enrichment initiatives
Recent CDC data reports that 39.7% of high school students experience persistent sadness or hopelessness. Prevention education, mentorship, and safe spaces shift long-term outcomes.

Jewelz foundation incorporated
Charmeka “Charm” Love is a wife, boy mom, veteran, award-winning coach, actress, counselor, and five-time Motivational Speaker of the Year.
She is the founder of The Virtuous Woman Inc. and LvsWay Inc. organizations devoted to faith, restoration, and purpose-driven leadership.
With nearly two decades of marriage and more than eighteen years guiding individuals and couples through relationship restoration, she brings wisdom, compassion, and authenticity to every space she enters.
From military service to national media appearances on Disney and BET, her voice continues to inspire transformation and hope. Today, she joins us as our Celebrity Host, guiding this celebration with presence, purpose, and heart.

Michelle “Meme” Lovett
Michelle Lovett is an award-winning actress, publisher, and CEO of MemeAllOver, LLC. She is the visionary behind the Generals, Bosses and Bossettas Platinum Awards Gala. Her ventures span media, health, beauty, and scholarship initiatives across multiple states. Her leadership has earned her the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and national recognition.

Dr. Sathya Callender-Wilson
Dr. Sathya Callender-Wilson is the founder of Scars of Survival Inc. and creator of Scars of Survival Magazine. She developed the first U.S. educational board game addressing domestic violence awareness and prevention. Her humanitarian work has earned national recognition, including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Her leadership restores dignity and amplifies survivor voices globally.
Gina H. Curry represents Pennsylvania’s 164th Legislative District in Delaware County following her 2021 election. An educator and behavioral health professional with more than two decades of service, she advances education, maternal health, and community opportunity. She co founded the Pennsylvania Black Maternal Health Caucus and holds leadership roles across several legislative committees. A graduate of Saint Joseph’s University and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she continues to mentor emerging leaders while serving the Commonwealth.

Shakima Brown
Shakima Brown is the founder of KeKe Everything Sauce and a community-centered entrepreneur. She leads with resilience shaped by faith, caregiving, and lived experience. As a chaplain and foster mother, she supports families with compassion and steadiness. Her voice empowers others to move forward with clarity and courage.

Marquitta Rucker
Marquitta Rucker is the Founder and Executive Director of the S.W.A.T. Foundation Inc., serving more than 20,000 families nationwide. She is a certified grant professional and national presenter on civic engagement and funding access. Through InfluenceHER Business Solutions, she equips women entrepreneurs with sustainability strategy. Her work has secured millions in community-focused impact.

Dr. Donnette P. Green
Dr. Donnette P. Green is an educator, Emotional Intelligence Strategist, and Founder of Distinctly Guided. For more than two decades, she has equipped families, youth, and leaders with restorative practices and emotionally intelligent leadership tools. She serves as a professor at Seton Hall University and Montclair State University. Her work strengthens homes, classrooms, and institutions through practical emotional wellness frameworks.

Pastor Freudeline St. Jean
Pastor Freudeline St. Jean is the Founder of Women of Many Hats and a global humanitarian leader. Her initiatives support transitional housing, food distribution, and international education projects. She advocates for equity through service on NAACP committees. Her leadership integrates faith, structure, and measurable community support.

Shani Johnson
Shani Johnson is the founder of Beautiful Exchange TV, a platform elevating women’s voices and financial literacy. With a background in education and finance, she guides women through transition and growth. Her leadership creates structured spaces for mentorship and connection. She strengthens clarity, confidence, and informed decision-making.

Fay Momo is the Founder and Chair of Cultural Bridge Realty and a national voice for women’s empowerment and community wealth. She advances pathways to ownership and economic stability for families. Through Momo Brand and YELLIN’ Mama, she supports financial awareness and emotional wellness. Her leadership strengthens families across cities and nations.

Brittany Passion
Brittany Passion is a CEO, mindset coach, casting director, and former therapist with over 15 years of experience. She has cast more than 12,000 individuals across major television and film productions, including work with Tyler Perry Studios. Her leadership spans entertainment, foster youth advocacy, and mental health empowerment. She strengthens confidence and opportunity at scale through both creative and community platforms.

Sheila Khadijah Martinez
Sheila Khadijah Martinez is the founder of Spanish Flavors, curating tea and culinary experiences rooted in culture and community. Her work creates intentional spaces for gathering and conversation. She centers connection, presence, and shared experience in every activation. Her leadership strengthens bonds through culture and hospitality.

Carolina Lorenzo-López
Carolina Lorenzo-López is the Founder and CEO of WoAgora and a global authority in human-centered AI and verified data governance. She advises institutions and international leaders on inclusive innovation across five continents. A recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt Medal, she contributes to global policy initiatives focused on dignity and access. Her work advances responsible technology systems that serve millions.

Dr. La Toya Mason
Dr. La Toya Mason is a healthcare leader, Amazon bestselling author, and Founder of Crown Me Different. She leads an annual women’s empowerment conference and multiple business ventures centered on faith and legacy. Her work strengthens women and families through mentorship, publishing, and entrepreneurship. She is the recipient of numerous honors, including an Honorary Doctorate and national leadership awards.

Dr. Jamalynn Lewis
Dr. Jamalynn Lewis is the Founder of SheEO Educational Institute and CEO of New Horizon Learning Academy in New Orleans. She has built multi-site early childhood education systems focused on school readiness and family-centered care. Her leadership expands entrepreneurship pathways and second-chance opportunities. She is a humanitarian recipient of two Honorary Doctorates in Philosophy in Humanitarianism.

Brittany Jones-Minor is the founder of Empowered Women Fitness & Wellness Center and a Licensed Practical Nurse. She leads women through fitness, emotional growth, and confidence-building initiatives rooted in consistency and care. Her outreach includes empowerment walks, affirmation programs, and community-based support for underserved women. Her work strengthens women mentally, physically, and financially.

NANCY VICKERS
Founder of Pieces of Me Greeting Cards and a longtime human services professional. Her creative work brings healing and encouragement through art, storytelling, and community workshops.

DR. ANANA PHIFER-DERILHOMME
Founder and CEO of BlessedGirl Global, an international mentoring organization developing confident and purpose-driven women and girls. Her initiatives support leadership development, maternal wellness, and family stability across several continents.

ERICA LINDSEY CHASE
CEO of Highlywaisted, a wellness brand empowering women through discipline, mindset, and transformation. Her journey has inspired a growing community focused on confidence, health, and personal development.

KRESENCE CAMPBELL, MA, LPC
Licensed psychotherapist serving New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania specializing in trauma-informed mental health care. She supports youth and families through therapeutic leadership and emotional wellness initiatives.

His innovation builds accessible pathways for economic growth.

LaVonte Stewart Sr.
LaVonte Stewart Sr. is the Founder and Executive Director of Lost Boyz Inc., advancing violence prevention and youth mentorship. He authored the Safe Passage program used by Chicago Public Schools. His public service spans leadership roles within the Illinois General Assembly and State Treasurer’s Office. His work strengthens families through safety, structure, and civic leadership.

Rizzo King Kongin
Rizzo King Kongin is a motivational speaker, bestselling author, and entrepreneur. He is a former executive producer of Master P Reviews and Snoop Dogg Cereal. He leads ventures in music, marketing, and business development, including King Kongin Energy Drink. His work centers mindset, branding, and forward momentum.

Roland Kennedy, Jr.
Roland Kennedy, Jr. is Executive Director of the Executive Alliance at the Schott Foundation. He leads philanthropic strategy advancing literacy, education, and economic mobility for boys and young men. He serves as Board Chair of Barbershop Books, expanding reading access nationwide. His leadership strengthens families through structured male mentorship.

Detective Errol McCalla Jr.
Detective Errol McCalla Jr. has served within the Department of Defense and as a federal law enforcement officer. His work safeguards families and protects national institutions. He mentors youth and organizes community toy drives supporting families in need. His leadership reflects discipline, protection, and responsibility.

internationally recognized saxophonist Irwin Hall as part of the live musical experience for our 2026 Women’s Empowerment Awards Brunch Gala in support of the Jewelz Foundation’s youth and community empowerment work.
A Princeton University graduate and prodigy from an early age, Irwin is a recording artist, composer, and global performer known for a sound defined by precision, depth, and presence. His work spans original albums, major stages, and collaborations with respected artists across the industry, establishing him as a distinctive voice in contemporary jazz.
